We're thrilled to share that there is another affirming congregation in the world! 🌈

The Huntsville Congregation located in Huntsville, AL, USA, is the newest Welcoming and Affirming member congregation in Community of Christ! It is also the very first affirming Community of Christ ministry in the State of Alabama.

The congregation successfully completed Harmony's Welcoming & Affirming Program with the official adoption of their welcoming statement:

At Huntsville Community of Christ, we affirm the dignity and worth of all persons. We provide a safe place to worship where our diversity enriches us and makes us whole. We extend the love of Jesus Christ to everyone, including those of all sexual orientations and gender identities and those who are marginalized for any reason. Everyone is welcome here--no exceptions.
